Flipside's own Miss Slack Harder 2004 was a finalist in the MBRC 2004 main event and will be on hand, along with Miss Lahonton Korps 04! Everyone's favorite perpetual first runner up (runner up to Miss Playa del Fuego 2004, the 2004 Iron Liver Contest, and Miss Black Rock City 2004) the fabulous Miss M-car will also be in attendance. What do you have in store for us, FLIPSIDE?!

THE PRELIMINARIES
Friday, May 27, 4pm at the Wonderlounge

Participation in the MBRC Project preliminary events is always open to all humans, plus a few mascots, not to mention an inanimate object or two... We don't get technical about it! All you need to enter is a title starting with the prefix "Miss" and a sash that states this title! Anyone can enter - and anyone can win. Plastic surgery, an eating disorder, Vaselined teeth and double-sided tape are not required! Participants will complete a short obstacle course of 3 - 4 "burner type" tasks, so contestants can show us their groove. What's the catch? They will also be carrying a tray of beverages that they must not spill!

Ten finalists and five alternates will be chosen to move on to the main event on Saturday.

THE MAIN EVENT
Saturday, May 28, 10pm on the Glam Stage

Ten finalists and five alternates from the preliminary event show us their unique beauty in these three categories:

*Black Tie and Boots Wear: We hear conservative Texans like to throw a little Black Tie and Boots event. Let's show them how we throw down!

*2 Minute Talent Competition: No rules other than the time limit. Everyone has a talent: be it a stupid party trick or a fine art!

*Interview: Do you do it for world peace, the children, or for the puppies? Perhaps something else drives you – tell us what it is in your interview answers!
