Represent your camp, your village, your region, your tent, or just yourself. Participation for Miss Flipside 2006: Pageant of Inner Beauty Queens is open to all women and men of any (or no) sexual preference and/or identity. Anyone can enter - and anyone can win. We can accomodate hundreds and all contestants win by simply participating, so come on and show us your inner beauty!

This year instead of buying the prize tiaras given to ALL finalists - we made them! Each tiara was handmade by a New York burner just for *you*! Some tiara makers can't make it to Flipside this year, but wanted to send their love - check out the photos of what we made. Thank you New York!

Miss Flipside 2005 was a super-ultra, mega-funky trip. Billy Goat and the Shaven Apes got us to the main event in screaming style, and the biggest storm of the weekend just barely waited for us to finish, with lightning bolts scattering the crowd. SO BRINGIT, FLIPSIDE 2006!

THE PRELIMINARY EVENT
Friday, May 26, 4pm
The Church of the Last Call Stage in Gomorrah

All you need to enter is a title starting with the prefix "Miss" and a sash that states this title! That’s right, I said “Miss”. Not Mr., not Mrs., not Ms. Why? Because we are all “amiss” here, baby!

Participants will complete a short obstacle course of 3 "burner type" tasks, so we can see how you groove. Ten finalists and five alternates will be chosen to move on to the main event on Saturday.

THE MAIN EVENT

Smash Camp Stage in Nod

Ten finalists and five alternates from the preliminary event show us their unique beauty in these three categories:

*Before the Fall Wear: We see how far you’ve fallen all Flipside long, with your glam costumes and nasty little outfits. But what were you like *before* you Fell from Grace? Show us what we don’t know about you!

*2 Minute Talent Competition: No rules other than the time limit. We insist everyone has a talent: be it a stupid party trick or a fine art!

*Interview: Do you do it for world peace, the children, or for the puppies? Perhaps something else drives you? Tell us what it is in your interview answers!

REMEMBER: You must participate in the preliminary event to be in the main event!!! Otherwise the main event will be 5 hours long and we get bored. Word.
